The rapid progress in the field of digitalization requires innovative qualification and further training courses in addition to the conventional courses offered by universities and further education academies.
The training courses and concepts are constantly being developed and an academy on the topic of Industry 4.0 is being established.

Services

A central element of the Industry 4.0 Maturity Center is consulting and training. Based on research findings, the scientists and academics work closely with the enrolled companies to develop customized solutions for each individual member. Our members benefit from the Center’s interdisciplinary team, which brings together a wide range of expertise: For example, the RWTH chairs, the FIR at RWTH Aachen University and the management consultancy Onward Partners cooperate here. This results in a wide range of consulting and engineering services.

How do you become a member of the Industrie 4.0 Maturity Center?

Trainings and Workshops

A successful implementation of the digital transformation requires new skills of management and employees. This ranges from the development of an economic digital strategy to the implementation of individual digitisation projects. We offer manufacturing companies an extensive qualification program to prepare your organization optimally for the digital transformation. This includes special offers tailored to the companies, but also open training courses for which individual employees can register.

Many manufacturing companies are still organized hierarchically along their functional areas and the target systems in management positions are designed accordingly. This results in a low willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation. However, cross-departmental collaboration and the active involvement of employees in change projects is of central importance for many digital transformation projects.

„The Expert Training has given me an established method and corresponding tools which help me to actively shape the digital transformation in our plants. It provided the basis for defining both the status quo and measures to build the foundation underlying  Industry 4.0.  Very valuable for me was also the exchange with peers from different companies and industries about their current challenges and best practices. The discussion with the I4.0MC experts and the interactive application of knowledge completed the two days.”
